Peter D Huang, O.D.
Dr. Peter Huang is a native of Chicago, Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign with the intentions of entering the United States Marine Corps. He was denied entrance because his vision was too poor.
Dr. Huang graduate with honors from the Southern California College of Optometry and was the recipient of many student and research awards. His training included the Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye center in Phoenix, Arizona, Watts Health Foundation in Watts, California, and the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego. |
Dr. Huang enjoys seeing patients from pediatrics through geriatrics and is very active in the Chula Vista community as a member of the Chula Vista Kiwanis Club and Eastlake Community Church.
He is married to Dr. Anita Niederberger Huang, an optometrist working at Sharp Rees Stealy, Otay Ranch.
They have two girls Jaiden,age15, and Kamlyn,age 14, who play soccer with Rebels SC.

Tram Nguyen, O.D.
Dr. Tram Nguyen grew up in Chula Vista. She attended the University of California at Berkeley and received her Bachelors in Science in Nutritional Science with emphasis in Metabolism and Physiology.
Following Dr. Nguyen's undergraduate training, she received her doctor of optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry where she graduated with honors. Dr. Nguyen is certified in therapeutic pharmaceutical agents and the treatment and management of glaucoma. She completed her professional externships at the Veterans Affairs hospital and the Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City, the Wellish Vision Institute in Las Vegas, and Sharp-Rees Stealy in San Diego. |
Dr. Nguyen also volunteered in Bihar, India, with Unite for Sight, a non-profit global eye health organization that empowers communities worldwide to improve eye health and eliminate preventable blindness.
When she's not working, Dr. Nguyen enjoys snowboarding, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
