Peter D Huang, O.D.

Dr. Peter Huang is a native of Chicago, Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign with the intentions of entering the United States Marine Corp. He was denied entrance because his vision was too poor. Dr. Huang graduate with honors from the Southern California College of Optometry and was the recipient of many student and research awards. His training included the Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye center in Phoenix, Arizona, Watts Health Foundation in Watts, California, and the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego.

Dr. Huang enjoys both pediatrics and geriatrics patients and is very active in the Chula Vista community as a member of the Chula Vista Kiwanis Club.

He is married to Dr. Anita Niederberger, an optometrist working at Sharp Rees Stealy, Otay Ranch.

They have two girls Jaiden,age 6, and Kamlyn,age 4, are also members of Eastlake Community Church.
